The company’s main operating markets are Denmark, Finland, Italy, France, Germany, as well as Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

Kalnapilis joined the Royal Unibrew family in 2002. At that time, the company was called The Danish Brewery Group, which also owned Vilniaus Tauras. In 2003, Panevėžys Kalnapilis and Vilniaus Tauras were merged into the company Kalnapilio-Tauro Grupė (KTG).
